I use Meguires Mirror Glaze, # 18, clear plastic detailer. It comes in a spray bottle and is put on quite sparingly. I believe you can purchase it here, from Fastlane!

Meguire's Plastic Polish is totally effective in removing the hairline scratches on you plastic rear window and interior wood pieces too (use sparingly as well)

A friend at work has a BMW convertible with plastic rear window. Sat 2-years outside and is showing classis signs of aged plastic -- opaque with some "burnt-brown" areas around the perimeter. I told her I'd contact Forum members for advice on how best to clean/restore (if possible).

Thanks in advance for any advice.

I've had excellent results with Zymol's screen cleaning kit.
