Cleanning orignal wheels

I have a 89 560sl with the orignal wheels.what is the best cleaner to use(i'm not sure what kind of alloy the are).also what kind of brush can i use(without scratching)can i use to get inside the nooks.thanks

Be careful with wheels this old. I used Meguire's and Eagle One, they pretty much removed the finish. I have read here that P21S is the mildest and most effective. Any brush intended for wheels should be fine.

P21S is the name of the product line. You should be able to find it at a "better" import parts store. Their wax also finished in the top three of "The Wax Test".
