I've seen all sorts of suggestions from peanut butter to toothpaste, however I bought some stuff from Griots garage just made for water spots and it worked great. One word to the wise though do not use this stuff on mirrors no where on the container did it advise against it and I found out the hard way. Good luck.

Meguiar's "Hard Water Spot Remover" in the Marine line works really well.
for something with some cutting/polishing action try... Meguiar's #4 Heavy-cut cleaner by hand or machine Meguiar' Heavy Oxidation Remover (in the Marine line) by hand or machine. Mike
