bit of an in-joke; where i grew up (dorset) you see lots of squashed badgers by the side of the road, and there's a local brew called badger we used to drink. Also, we had a crap band called the desperate badgers. I got badger 2 as the '1' looked like an 'I'. plus my peugoet was badger 1. complicated, eh?
I have a 'serious' plate too, i can magically swap at will. 'Scrumpshire' is a name one of my london friends gave the area for all the carrot-crunching scrumpy-drinking locals

I have a black and silver SLB 1 which came off a Morgan I imported a few years ago. Maybe I will dress up the coupe !

yea, do it! I think it improves the look actually.
just incase you're wandering why a dorset-boy has a scottish flag- scots father. Always felt more 'scottish' than english, but 'british' as a whole. All screwed up basically. I see the coupe is finally for sale- how come?

The first pic shows how the car was when I bought it. The car is a one owner with full history but hasn't had the luxury
of a garage or careful parking. I picked it up for a song  The car is still undergoing changes and there is still quite a bit to do. Below is some idea of how its going so far.   Apart from the obvious differences in the pictures, mods include changing the interior from mushroom cloth to mid red leather and of course the remote retractable hood badge you see below.

Recently, after a surprisingly low quote for a complete strip down, window out total body spray in Slovenia, I took the plunge and decided to rid those nagging trolly dings once and for all.
Decided to go monotone as I never really liked the two tone look, so replaced both bumper inserts for the new colourmatched ones at the same time as the spray job and here we go, not bad for a 12 year old car is she?   Just look at that deep shine :bannana:  Facelift trunk filler panel now alsosprayed up and fitted.

very nice Sp!ke...very nice indeed. If only mine was that shiney. (car that is). did you re-spray your grille insert by the way? I'm thinking about doing mine as it's all scratched and faded.

Nope, the grill insert was from http://www.gsfcarparts.com/ I bought a complete grill including surround for £39. The quality is fine.
I will be buying and avantgarde grill insert to replace it with soon however.

my 250km badge just arrived today- suprised at how nice the quality is. Good solid badge with a nice certificate. I wander how many new E-classes will be making it to this mileage? Mine will probably blow up tomorrow now I've said that
