Steering Wheel Transfer Completed

Hey Everyone,
I finally got around to changing my old air-bag steering wheel to a sporty aftermarket wheel. Thanx "2phast" for the great info. Project only took 20 minutes to complete. I love DIY projects-Big Smile!! Here's a pic of the final result. I hope this works....

....does my car look like a HONDA?? I think not!! IMO, the OEM wheel is ugly.

Safest place for the air bag is right where it used to be.

....who cares about a stupid air-bag. The car is 14 years old!! Good old fashion seat-belts are fine with me.
To add more fuel to the fire, I was informed by a reliable source that a vehicle's air-bag should be replaced after 10 years. A OEM replacement for a Mercedes cost about $700 bucks. Get real.....I could do something better with my money like buying a REMUS exhaust system instead. Bottom line is personal taste.

Isn't the air bag light on all the time now?

The air bag on my 16 valve should have been replaced in '97.

I'll take my chances....
