Door Handles
Just polished my weathered door handles with Meguiars black trim polish. I dont know what peanut butter looks like on door handles (messy I guess ) but my door handles look great. The black appearance is back and I am impressed!

How Do you get your door handles off your car?

300CEpimp, you have to remove the door panels to get to the screws that secure the door handle. See the DIY section of this site for the 'door check-strap' replacement - it gives the details (with pics) of getting the panel off.
The door handle screws can be accessed by carefully peeling back the vapor-barrier. Regards, - Ryan

My secret - Use Meguiars Endurance Gel
My 190E had faded door handles and I tried various products to rejuvinate the color back. I found the trick ... I use Meguiars Endurance Gel on my tires (which works great) and I said " what the heck, it couldn't hurt" so I tried it on a small section. Boy did the handles drink up!!!! I'd say, the door handles kept looking like new for 4 - 5 months in the California sun! My secret.
