Interior cleaner?

Hello! Does anyone have a suggestion for a good general-puirpose interior cleaner? i.e. something that I could use on the door panels, dash, headliner, etc?

Also, I've got leather seats does this mean that the door panels are leather, or are they vinyl?

Thanks in advance!

BTW, I already have a bottle of Meguiars Vinyl/Rubber protectant...the bottle doesn't indicate that it serves as a cleaner, though. How well does it work on plastic? I noticed that the bottle specifically says not to use on leather, which is why I want to know what the door panels are made of...

I've had good luck with Griot's 'Interior Cleaner', gentle enough for leather/wood etc., but pretty effective. Cleans about as good as your general degreser (to diluted strength recommended for such tasks) but without the citrus (or other) smells.

A good product, but not quite heavy duty enough for aged MB-Tex.

Regards,
- Ryan

A great interior cleaner is Dryclean by Blue Coral. It does a great job on carpeting, headliner, plastic, rubber and vinyl. I wouldn't use it on leather at all.

If your seats are leather it is very likely that your door inserts (the softer wrinkled portion in the middle) are leather. I just bought some Lexol since my leathers in good condition, I'll post results this weekend.

You would use the Meguiars Vinyl protectant on the door edges and handle which are viny. Make sure to wipe off the excess.

I second Mark on the Leatherique....really is great stuff.

Rejuvanator and Pristine clean is all you need for even the driest leather...works on the plastic too.

I will piggy back off of Jim, Leatherique has outstanding products! Pristine clean can be used everywhere and does not leave a glossy look or oily residue behind. The Rejuvenator oil is great for the leather/MB tex seats. I have not tried anything else so I might be a little biased but the stuff from Leatherique is awesome.
