Wax on Lower Body Trim

I waxed my 190-E 16 valve today, but didn't apply wax to the lower body cladding. Is it okay to wax those pieces as well? I'd really love to put sometihing on them to protect/shine them.

If I can't wax them, is there anything else I can put on them to protect them?

Thanks!

You can definitely wax the plastic on the bottom of the car.

I I wax mine regularly and find that it creates a nice reflective surface and also makes it much easier to clean. The Gold Class will work perfectly on these panels.
