I have a 1977 450 slc with what used to be a white headliner and visors. The visors have dark brown stains that will not come out. My local trim shop says that there is a vinyl paint that will cover this. Does anyone have any experience using such a paint? Thanks.

I used some years ago, seemed to not adhere good enough. If it was hit with anything resembling a sharp edge it could be peeled off. Since then I've seen there are cleaners/primers/paint for it though, so maybe they make it better now.
