W210 Interior Leather
I've scanned the "archives," and it would seem that "Leatherique" is the treatment of choice. The Parchment interior of my '99 E430 is very nice, and I want to keep it that way. Here are my 2 questions: Is Leatherique mail order only? I've never seen it anywhere, and will it clog the perforations in the areas of the seat that are perforated? I don't have ready access to compressed air, a suggestion that I read in another post. Any other way to handle this?
Thanks, Art |

I have never seen it anywhere else. I recommend leatherique if your leather is in poor condition, it works wonders. If your leather is fairly new and in good shape many other products will help keep it that way. As for the perforations (my car has them too) I just found Mequire's leather care wipes. This is the easiest to use leather care product I have ever used. There is nothing to get stuck in the perforations and it goes on easy and the results are fantastic. I use one wipe per seat, so that totals 5 including headrests and the center of the rear seat. At $10 Canadian per container its a steal.

I understand even in leather interiors, some surfaces may still be MBtex. On my 210, the rear headrest covers seems very hard and has a rougher texture, unlike the front headrests. Just wondering if anyone know if the rear headrests are made of leather or tex?
