Get rid of bugs

Tip for getting rid of bugs – use baby wipes or face wipes, they are already moist and they will not harm the wax or paint on your MB. It takes off the bugs better then some of the products you can buy i.e. Bug off.

Bugs

What type of alcohol, rubbing, drinking?. Won't alcohol take the wax off. I use alcohol to clean up before doing any detailing ie: (decals)

I use glass cleaner on the bumper, grille and windshield before I wash the car, and wash those areas first, then wash the car. Doesn't seem to take the wax off.

i use Gunk engine degreaser, and have a wet, soapy rag ready to wipe off the Gunk residue. I dont want it taking off anything other that bug splatter. It leaves no streaks or smears either.

Just had my car painted and body shop said that bugremove by turtle wax is completly harmless if used correctly.

I use the sponge side of the squeegee with lots of water. Works like a charm and never a scratch on the paint. By the way, I also use the squeegee, the rubber side, to remove the water after washing the car, then I use a chamois to do the final drying. Being doing it since 1988
