How to reattach rubber strip below door sill
 

Hello all:

I washed my E-320 yesterday and noticed the rubber strip that runs along the side of the car below the door sills was loose. After inspecting it, I decided the best thing to do was to remove it before I lost it in the street.

Is it designed to just fit back into the body of the car or should I use glue/other?
