Does harder to rub off mean longer lasting.

Just following up with an earlier discussion. Generaly when wax is applied and is hard to rub off after hazing. Does that generaly mean the wax is longer lasting.

It is common knowledge that some wax is harder to rup off after sitting a while. So my question is if you don't mind the elbow grease (I don't I have a orbital buffer) should you wait a while and let the wax harden before faxing.

Some waxes do require that they dry to a haze before buffing them off. Other waxes require you to apply one panel at a time and remove the wax before it dries.

Most Meguiars waxes should be allowed to dry which can take up to 30 minutes. I use a wax that is only applied a panel at a time and removed before drying. Zaino requires at least a 1 hour drying time before removing. So it really depends.

Many times waxes are difficult to remove because you've applied too much. Only a very very thin layer is required and in some cases you can barely tell the wax is there. A more difficult wax to remove doesn't mean it works better.
