Clearcoat peel and rust pocks....
I have a 380 sel and the paint looks great where it is complete. I have some clearcoat peelage and a smidge of scraped paint on the roof of hte car (from a previous owner backing under an opening garage door), and some tiny rust pocks on the hood and door (from previous owner following a dump truck or salt truck much too close). How much would it be to have these things fixed? I will try to get pics, but it could be a few days.
Thanks,

paint problems
My Euro C180 looked like it had been following those dump or stone carrying trucks when I bought it. Very stupid as I didn't know how much it would cost to repaint. All I liked was the interior which was and still is "as new". Got the whole front hood smoothened out and resprayed. This had to be done 3 times! There were 13 rust spots on the roof near the sunroof which I duly scraped to bare metal and touched up with similar paint. I overdid this and then sanded down to level. Now it looks ok, but the metallic won't match a hand done job. So there are a few patches on the roof now which I will try to slowly retouch up until they match. Metallics need respraying not hand brushing. Anyway the rust is gone and I am happy. Only the seagulls will see the spots. LOL.
