Just the cleaner or the conditioner too?
|
Finally decided to try the Leatherique. 87 SEL with chocolate brown (tobacco) interior.
Used the Rejuv Oil and Prestine Clean. Followed directions to the letter -- slathered on the oil with hands, let bake in 90 degree plus for 8 hours, used the cleaner, washed with warm water, buffed with terry towel, etc. Just the cleaner and washing took almost three hours (16 years of dirt...) I will say that the seats are MUCH cleaner but I wasn't all that impressed with feel of the leather, or gloss (16 years of neglect, maybe?). The seats came out VERY dull and no more supple than before. I like a bit more gloss and was going to follow up with another round of the Rejuv but can't bear the thought of having to spend another few hours just cleaning it off. Am also thinking about following up with Lexol instead as I've had good luck with that in my other autos. John |
