ARE CLAY BARS CREATED EQUAL ?

1st time to clay my car. have 2 kits. 1 mother's.
1 meguiar's. which is better? why? the 2 bars
are different colors, are they made of same stuff?
if i run out of one will the other work as well.
you folks are the pro's. pls advise.

I happen to like the Mothers,,,,much easier to work with.

I got equivalent results, but Mothers was much easier to handle.

"Clay Magic" works better than the two above mentioned but it is sometime difficult to locate in the stores.

Speaking of Bars...

Story is, I bought a Mother's Clay bar on a Saturday. Opened it on a Sunday, and to my chagrin, NO BAR! Just the detailer's mist... So, I got to another store in NY State (gotta love NJ Blue Laws) and buy the Clay Magic for half the price. Car comes out great!

I return the Mother's box on tuesday and the guy says "well, the customer is always right" with a "look" inferring that I'm returning a product I used and didn't feel like paying for... What a jerk. To prove him wrong, I took a store credit and will buy some more stuff Saturday. After that, it's no more shopping there. I don't like to feel alienated when shopping somewhere. I'm an honest person, really...
