Mutiple coats of Meguir's #26?

Can I put on multiple coats of Meguir's #26 on my Brilliant Silver wagon and increase the protection and improve the look? I just recently switched from Zaino back to Meguir's on the wagon because Zaino made the car look gray and not silver. Also, I've heard there is a Meguir's finishing detain spray that is good too. Anybody know what its name is?

Two coats are better than one since you may miss a few spots the first time. Anything beyond two coats with a Carnauba based wax really won't make a difference. With #26 expect to wax every 4 weeks.

As far as the detailing spray it's called Meguiars Final Detail and is available only from paint supply shops that carry Meguiars products. It's available in 1 Gallon size only for approx $18.00. Get a good spray bottle and you'll never look back.

Actually it's a quick detailing liquid spray. It removes bugs, tree sap and other light dirt that manages to get on your paint. It doesn't provide any protection but it does slicken the surface which makes it easier to clean future buildup. It's not designed to clean the paint after rain though.

Meguiars just improved their Quik Wax (spray wax) formula not too long ago and I've heard it works really well at darkening the paint. It touches up your protection between wax jobs so you can extend wax times, but it also gives your car a just waxed look. I haven't tried it, these are only observations I've heard from others.
