OxiClean? Made postal meter ink (very hard to get out) disappear on a pair of beige shorts. I'd test colorfastness first (rinse well, as that's when you'll lose the color) and maybe try in the washing machine if it's a mat. I've never used it in my car so proceed with caution.
Good luck, John

Ren,
Is it the mats or the actual carpet. If it's the carpet, is it front or rear. The fronts can be removed which is a good when using stronger cleaners, it also insures that you have completely rinsed the cleaner. Resolve I've noted has a tendency to attract dirt if it's not rinsed well. I'd also consider Oxyclean as an alternative, and as phatryd already suggest definitely check for colorfastness. There are also a few other products available in Target and other similar stores which sell products to remove these types of stains from carpets. Good luck.

well its not my Benz but my mom's Maxima (thank god)
its the rear carpet and rear floor mat, honestly since we live in the north, we have all weather floor mats so the stain doesn't show very well...but underneath it there a 6"x6" on the floor mat and a 2"x3" on the carpet itself shall try with recommendations something this week or i'll just to some professional place...its cool since it was a friend's mess and he'll be getting the bill Ren |
