did anyone use PIAA Super Silicone Wiper Blades for W124?
I would like to hear your opinion.

Not Piaa brand but...
I got some 100% silicone blades from someplace in upstate NY - Silicone Specialties or something; they were less than adequate because they left a film on the glass and they really drag causing the relatively long, flexible blades on my '98 Passat to skip and drag unless there was a lot of water on the glass, they were a little better than that on the MB but I prefer Bosch Micro-edge, they glide on the glass and they last a long time.

PIAA blace is strange.
I followed the manual. I cleaned the windshield with wather and soap (I used Windex instead of soap). Applied the wet tissure provided. Waited for 10 minutes. Operated wiper for 5 minutes dry. While I was operating wiper dry, it made annoying noise. It was not raining but I wanted to test the wiper. So I simply sprayed windwhield washer fluid. The PIAA wiper made the windshield very foggy. I removed PIAA wiper. In addition, it did not have adapter really good for MB W124. If I had not tested and removed PIAA, I might have had accident due to foggoy windshield. |

My PIAA was good
But they recommend changing them every year. The J connection gets loose over time from use.
