how do I remove PIAA coating?
I tried to use PIAA wiper blade, but I turned to a Bosch blade made for W124 (bought from FastLane) due to haze.
The PIAA blade included a tissue that need to be applied on the windshield before using PIAA silicon blade. Probably it makes silicon coat similar to Rain-X. (The manual said that I need to replace blade each year and frequently operate the blade dry. ) After application of the tissue, when I use wiper when it rains a little, I get a lot of haze and streak on the windshield. I wiped the windshield with ArmorAll glass wipe, but I still have the haze and streak problem. |

I try something with ammonia or vinegar in it, or even alcohol.

Use rubbing alcohol, it will remove any residue and coatings from the glass. Also wipe down your blade after cleaning the glass.
For every day use I blending (90%) Rubbing Alcohol with Distilled Water in a 40/60 Concentration respectively. It's cheap and effective.
