Wind shield spots

My wind shield is full with little "spots" created over the 25 years by bugs, stones ,etc. Under normal conditions it's no problem, I hardly notice. But when the sun is low it makes visiblity very bad. I was wondering if there is some kind of wax or other stuff for this.

I konw this is not exactly what you want to do but you can try a thorough cleaning first. Try "No Touch Auto Glass Stripper" it is avaiable at NAPA.

I don't think there's any product on the market that will remove the pitting so you're either stuck with it or you can replace it.

Many times a good insurance company will cover the replacement due to excessive wear. Might be worth investigating if you can't see through the glass.
