Is Zymol Carbon a wax?

I've never heard of refrigerating a wax before.

Well, there are two formulas to the original Zymol in the tub, Creme and Carbon. Carbon being for darker colored cars. On the tub, it says to keep in the fridge... I used to, but then not. I wonder if the wax is shot...

I wonder what ingredient it has in it that requires refrigeration.

What does it list in the ingredient statement?

Zymol is made up of 100% natural ingredients, not that it go moldy if not regrigerator. Look at the wax, see what it looks like.

No mold, just nice smelling, blue paste as always... I even spooned out some... It does look and smell good enough to eat! But I would never...

It's probably all right. I always thought the refrigeration thing was just about building the Zymol myth... although I keep mine in the fridge. You're meant to take it out of the fridge 24hrs before use anyway.

I know refigeration keeps it solid like a paste. I've seen it like melt, so, I suppose the cold is good for it...

Don't know if this is the case here, but many waxes and oils can undergo oxidative changes - specifically, oxidative cleavage of unsaturated sites to give organic acids, aldehydes (which can further oxidize to acids), and ketones. This is one of the reasons for the rancid smell encountered in old bottles of cooking oils, especially nut oils like peanut or sesame. Refrigeration should help slow down this process.
