I know a 1991 W124 not washed at all for about half a year from spring to winter.

The owner relied on rain for car exterior cleaning.

The car is in New England area.

I see some small areas of paint damage: some crack, some stone chip damage, an some rust beneath the paint that makes the paint in the area look like bubble.

But that is just outside.

How severe will it be in the area I cannot see easily (hidden corners, beneath the carpet, underside, etc.)?

Are you thinking about buying this car???

I'd imagine any owner that only washes their car twice a year probably doesn't maintain the car mechanically either.

If you can see rust under the paint I'd be willing to bet that alot of the suspension components, wheel wells and engine bay have excessive rust.

So why do you ask?
