Rocker panel coating
I see a lot of cars built with a factory-applied pliable coating on the rocker panels. I'd like it for my winter car which doesn't have it. Can anybody recommend a good aftermarket product to protect the lower outside surfaces?

I am assuming the cabriolet is NOT your winter car
I use this on rocker panels and it has worked well (if you like black). http://www.hirschauto.com/acb/showdetl.cfm?&DID=27&Product_ID=9&CATID=1

Thanks for the link, but I'm looking for a clear product that goes over Class A (visible) surfaces - on the lower 6" of body panels.
You're right, neither of the two convertibles in my signature is my winter car. I can't afford to pay good money for a car and then let the rust get at it. My winter car is a pristine 91 Mercury Grand Marquis with no rust. I've had to take care of some surface rust on the edges of the waxable panels. The rest of the metal is rustproofed. It's a neverending battle with rust.
