Benzman500 and anybody else worryin' about the sticker,

I was browsin' on eBay, and found the windshield sticker for $1.25US. The link to the page is:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=399904431

Here is a picture of the sticker:

Hope this helps!!!

All of my Benzs have the DB Sticker. Was pretty upset when I got a new windshield at my Dealership a couple of years ago and they did not give me a new white sticker (had a stone crack it in Williamsburg , VA).

Anyway, my Benz is OK again, got the sticker from MSUSA.

Ok maybe I'm just too picky, but is everybody "guessing" when they put the sticker on their windshield or is there some specification as to the location of the sticker in the bottom corner of the windshield?

Anyone know what the distance is from the top left corner of the sticker to the A-pillar is? How about from the bottom right corner of the sticker to the bottom edge of the windshield? I can't imagine installing my sticker until I know those two measurements!

i put mine right above the black dots and about half a inch away from the corner. i did it this way so it would be less of a distraction.

If you are sitting in the right-side passenger seat of your M-B, and are lookin' at the bottom righthand corner of your windshield, you should see that the bottom right corner of the sticker is 4cm from the dash, while the bottom left corner of the sticker is 4.5cm from the dash. The sticker seems to run parallel to the A-pillar on its right side from bottom to top...around 1.5cm. So if I was puttin' the sticker on, I would use the A-pillar as the reference. The measurements are rough...since after I read this msg, I ran to the garage and measured it w/ a ruler. I also didn't compensate for the arc of the windshield. These measurements are off a '95 Canadian-model M-B E420. Hope this helps.

ML320 Question

I too am interested in getting a Diamler Benz sticker for my car. Why does none of the M-Classes come with this sticker? I know they are assembled in America but are they not still a Diamler Benz product?

$2.40 for the sticker at my local dealer that almost requires a dress code to enter. You Houstonians know which one I'm speaking of. I guess they gotta pay for those marble floors and teak wood somehow, eh? Least I got a free soda out of their open fountain drink counter. :p :p

So many people were complaining of the new "Daimler-Benz Product" that you can now get "Mercedes-Benz Product" stickers from a participating dealer.

Also, don't ever pay more than $1.50 like those on Ebay!

Wait a minute...did I read a post where some guy spent 3 hours on the phone looking for "Joyce" so he could get a free sticker?

It's a buck fifty man! What's your time worth?

Couldn't resist.

My daughter pulled the sticker out of my car years ago. I put it back in, but it wouldn't fully adhere. I'm not worried about it, and the new glass I had put in last month doesn't have one. 'just something else to obscure my view.

BTW. I could never justify spending $50k on any car. For one thing I wouldn't be able to make the house payment nor the kids school. I'll let someone else put the cash down upfront and take the depreciation hit. I'll buy it afterward.
