I thought it is Medallion becaue the price was similar. But Meguirs calles Medallion a polish/wax, not cleaner/wax (with their distinction between cleaning, polishing and waxing).

But the MB product is cleaner/polish/wax.

I asked Meguiars about the Mercedes products and they stated that some of the products are very similar to a Meguiars product. Mercedes does specifically change the ingredients slightly to enhance the product to meet MB's needs.

On that note the Mercedes Interior Care for Vinyl/Rubber is far superior to any Meguiars products I've used to date. It smells better and has minimal shine. Note that Meguiars makes this product for MB but it's nothing like what is offered in the Meguiars line up.

I would venture to guess that the Mercedes Waxes are VERY similar to what Meguiars offers while other products like the wheel, interior and trim care are different.

Can't go wrong either way.
