two tips

two detailing tips I discovered over the past few days

On my six year old black paint, I first washed with car wash soap, then decided to wash a second go with Palmolive liquid dishwashing soap -like the Zaino ( Dawn ) guys do. My car polished up and waxed up fantastic, paint was smooth as glass and shine was excellent. Dishwashing liquid must have removed layers of old wax and polish and allowed my new polish and wax to go on great. Note: I poilish four or five times a year if not more for the past six years.

When doing my brakes today, I had very little brake cleaner to use, so after using what little brake cleaner I had, I used Turtle Wax on my brake calipers -rubbed on and buffed off, and they really look clean - not brand new but close.
