Question Quick ?- Trans line pressure fitting?

Can anyone confirm that the injection pump side banjo bolt of the boost pressure line from intake to IP is usable in makeing a gauge to check trans line pressure on my 83 300D? I really need to try and get this new modulator installed this weekend and change the fluid! Thanks a bunch for any info..

Banjo:

Wolfman:
I used the banjo bolt from the intake side of the exhaust manifold, that goes to the Alda. It is the right size for the Tranny on 84 & 85 300D.
The one's from fuel filter are wrong. Ask me how I know.
Good luck.

So the one on my table from the intake, rear most, that goes to the ALDA is correct? It's kinda long, does it need to be cut down any? Any other advice on a gauge or tubeing?
