w115 squeak

I have a 1976 240D with 250K miles. The shocks were replaced roughly 10K miles ago. The car has now developed a squeak. It happens upon getting in or out of the car, over rough bumps, or when the wheel is turned. It sounds like it is coming from the front drivers wheel area. Is this a sign of a need for springs, or something else?

Thanks

Rubber suspension bushings would be my guess. You might eliminate the squeek just by spraying rubber parts with some kinda silicone rubber lubricant. Another culprit could be anti-sway bar rubber mounts, so check them too.
