Unhappy Bigbabbo

Damn... the baboon has 300TD hatch struts on Ebay for $49 a pair. Good price, but I'l be damned if I'll buy from that guy. Crap!

Anyone want to sell me some hatch struts cheap?

Chris

So his new handle is "importbaron" huh? I came very close to ordering a part from him the other day.

Importbaron

I wouldn't have known it either unless I'd looked at his other items for sale. In one item description he said "Bigbabbo does ti again," which tipped of off. If you look at the original complaint thread, it does indeed point out that he's using Importbaron now. Glad I looked a bit more; I just about bought those struts on the spot!

"Benz Baron" "Import Baron" and possibly "BenzMats" "EBS 1984"

The last two I'm not sure of! Had written them down next to the others.

I read his responces and he looks pretty clean! But I'll never order from the psyco:p

I didn't realize "benzbaron" was his too?!?!

I bought a new valve cover gasket from benzbaron. I received it, seemed ok, but I still have a nasty-a$$ leak out of the back of my valve cover.

I can get them at wholesale. Email me your vehicle info and I'll get exact pricing, but the FEBI's (by Bilstein) I installed in a friends 1983 300TD cost a whopping $28 ea. (you'd be looking at paying me shipping to get them to you though and that would probably be a rediculous $4-6 total.)

Just to make sure you are looking for the same thing, these are called a "rear hatch damper" or "hatch strut".

BTW, this is a no-profit thing for me, in fact, it will cost me the time and gas to get, pack and ship them, but if it saves someone from bigbabbo, it's worth it to me!
