I just refurbished the interior of my 450SL this past winter, with new carpet, and all of the vinyl refinished with SEM.

The car used to smell like a mold!

Only the seats remain original, and the car now smells like old cars from the 30's 40's and 50's............why, HORSE HAIR filled seats.... It is what MB used in all 107 leather seats, maybe MBtex too!

I actually like it, it reminds me of the past long long ago! ..........BB

Mine had a fresh vanilla smell. The day prior to my delivery date for the car, the dealer asked me what scent I wanted to be applied to the car's interior after it was detailed. So, I told him vanilla. On delivery day, the car looked sharp inside out and smelled fresh.
