300D transmission and more question

Ok, I have a 1983 turbo 300D, 223k. When I change the transmission to drive from another setting (reverse, neutral or park) there's a pause of 1-2 seconds and a clunk/lurch when the tranny engages. From what I've read here and elsewhere I narrowed it down to:
*Flex discs
*Shift lever bushings
*Motor mount

I changed the tranny fluid, then jacked it up and replaced one shift bushing which was not cracked or loose, I found out after the fact. The other was a little too hard to get to (and the daylight too dim) for that day. Both flex discs show no signs of wear/cracking in inspection from below; do I need to remove the driveshaft and take them off to get a really good look at 'em? I can't recall where I heard it might be the motor mount, but I popped the hood and had someone put it in gear and there's a definite jump in the engine when it engages. I just don't know how much (if any) is normal for this model; it hops around a bit just on idle too...

Given that, can anyone narrow it down for me? Or suggest something else? I read another post that made me wonder if it was a vacuum issue...

Then I noticed a small leak of a clear oily fluid coming from somewhere above the front left wheel well and down through it, which I haven't had time to thoroughly check out. Going by the location of things in the engine compartment I'm afraid it's brake fluid, though I'm hoping to get in there and find some odd power steering line that runs near the wheel well and has sprung a leak. So if you have any thoughts on that one (brake fluid level in the reservoir is normal) I'd appreciate it.

Bill
