Sunvisor Lubrication?
Replacing the clips that hold my sunvisors and just re-attached one of the lighted mirror units. The swivel appears to be quite stiff so wondered if that was normal or if there is someway to lubricate it after pulling the shaft as far out as it can go? Anyone try this? If so, what did you use for lubricant?
Thanks.

You want it to be stiff because that's the only way it can stay in position. They don't have any mechanism to hold them, just friction. I'd leave it as is and enjoy the fact they stay up when needed.
Thanks David

Thanks. I had a hunch I might read that as a reply. They do work great just didn't know if they required something to maintain their ability to do so.
