You had best wait for them to be shipped. I've been down the path of wiper blades more times than I care to say. Any replacement inserts that you try to put in the original blades will not do the proper job.
Now, if you can find a replacement blade locally, then you might be successful. I never did find a decent replacement blade and purchased the OEM blades via mail order. |

You could try a parts store that specializes in import car parts. It's a good sign if you see a Bosch neon logo in their front window.
It's even better if they have the correct Bosch replacement in stock, else you'll have to wait for them to be shipped anyway. Best Regards, Jim |

I just purchased the entire Bosch assembly from Autozone, the ones that were on their were old Bosch assembly's that I couldn't find inserts to fit. They seem to wipe ok, but they do shake when their on, is this normal?

Why don't you just buy the inserts. Universal Inserts, that could be cut to ANY size are available from both places.
Buy the the Universal inserts, measure the size of the insert in your car, and cut the new inserts to the same size. It works great, its inexpensive, and is an easy 10-15 Min. fun job.

I bought the replacements that Autozone sells for my 84 300SD and they are lousy.
The one on the passenger side slaps the top of my hood edge and fender edge. If you can get the ones that are designed for the car, I think you'll be much happier.

You can get the original wiper blades from Performance Products (************************) or you can go to the dealer and order them. I have had bad results ordering blades thru FastLane. The original blades are shown in the catalogue but they send out aftermarket Bosch microedge blades for OE blade prices that you can get at any autoparts store. There is a big difference between OE Bosch and aftermarket Bosch wiper blades. Besides being sturdier and having the correct mounting hardware (not one for all cars) the OE blades look & work best on the car. Apparently at one time WorldPac (FastLanes supplier) did ship the correct OE blades but they no longer do this. Being I'm one who only wants OE parts on my Benz I was unhappy to find the aftermarket blade when I opened the box. It was returned and I ordered one from Performance Products. I received a correct Mercedes W124 stamped OE Bosch wiper blade and have been very happy with it. Spend the money and get the correct OE blades/inserts for your car.
Here's the OE blade for my W124 Here's what WorldPac shipped. Also, If anyone needs inserts for their W107,W123,W124,W126 or W201 Mercedes with original blades (can't find them or whatever) Performance Products has them also. No cutting required! Like some others have said if you want good wipers for your SD the only place to go would be the dealer or Performance Products. If you have BAP Geon stores where you are you may find the correct plade assemblies there as well, but you'll probably pay the same price as the dealership, about $52.00 after tax for both wipers. I wouldn't replace them with anything else but the OEM wipers, because anything else really sucks. Good luck.
