Arrow SLR Factory

This has nothing todo with diesels, but it interesting none the less. These are pictures from the plant where the handbuilt Mercedes SLR supercar is produced. ENJOY!!!

This may be comparing apples to oranges but have you ever been to a GM plant or similar?
Wow! You could eat off the floor in that place! The techs even "look" more professional.

That looks almost like my shop, only the floor is much cleaner, there is better lighting and the 'techs' are trim Aryans wearing trendy matching black tee shirts, trousers and shoes. All our black 'shop wear' is from 200,000+ mile accumulations of diesel guck.

I don't think the GM plant in OKC looked too bad inside (at least before the tornado). I use to have to go there somewhat often when I worked for an environmental laboratory and it always seemed pretty neat and tidy. Not as neat as the SLR factory, but then I have to believe they were cranking out a few more units per day than the SLR factory.
