300d fuel line questions
 

I'm installing a supply and return line for an auxillary fuel tank (wvo).

I have .17" line (4.3 mm) ID line for the return.

In searching other posts (of course, after purchasing the fuel line I have) I found normal return is 6 mm.

Does anyone know whether the MB dimensions are ID or OD? Can you imagine problems using the 4.3 mm ID for the return?

Generally MB uses 7.5 mm ID fuel line. The bannana hose as well as the plastic fuel filter lines are 7.5 mm. The supply and return hoses at the bottom of the tank are generally 7.5 mm. Hope this helps.
