Exclamation W123 240D for sale for $350

I was just driving home today, taking a different route due to an accident that blocked my usual route, when I noticed a 240D for sale for $350. I stopped by and talked to the owner briefly and he claimed that the car was excellently maintained by one of the Mercedes-Benz service shops in town. The car is in pretty rough shape. It has lots of rust outside and the interior is in fair condition. It has a manual transmission and hand crank windows and has 210,xxx miles on its odometer. Owner claims that the car runs, however I couldn't test this as it has no battery. Also, he said it can't be driven because as he was attempting to re-park it, the clutch pedal got stuck and won't release.

Just thought I'd post this here for anyone who might be interested in the car for whatever reason (parts, etc). If you're interested just let me know and I'll go ahead and take pictures of it and post them online so you can see what the car really looks like.

And oh... for those who didn't see my location under my profile, the car is located in Kansas City, MO zip code 64134.

Too bad it's so far away...the engine from that car could have worked nicely for my next project, and the $$'s right...

But, after shipping, I don't think it'd be worth it...

Your real regret would be that I don't know how to pull car engines and stuff like that... otherwise I know someone who can arrange to get that shipped to anywhere in the US for $75 - $100.
