Jump these 2 terminals.. drivers side between the battery and the overflow tank. (In the picture the cover is open)

This is currently how my wifes car starts.. Once Ivan has cleared out I'll figure out why the neutral saftey switch died.

hmm, thought it was the two closest to the expansion tank you needed to jump. maybe it works with no 1&3 as well :confused:

Thks agn.We`re presently getting rain here in GA.Hope I can get`r cranked & into the garage tonite.

82 300D Starting Problem Repaired
 
:) Big Thanks to all who responded! The problem was the 8 inch long battery ground strap that connects to a bolt just in front of the battery. Loosened the bolt then tightened it securely and all is well.Hope this info helps someone else.
