95 E300 Diesel
I just purchased a 95 e300d with the 6 cyl non turbo motor,one of the last
W124 made with the new generation motor.I ve own a lot of diesels before,never one with this motor,what is the live of this powertrain?my old 6cyl and 5cyl diesels where very strong,how about this new motor,what are the weak points?,things to look for?(my car ebay item#2488968437).Thanks. |

It will last every bit as long as previous MB diesels. I know of a couple with over 300kmi and no signs of slowing down or wearing out. Feed it Mobil synthetic fluids and it will last a loooong time. Great car, btw... it looks totally immaculate from the photos. I'm jealous!!
