Power seats? I will put the drivers seat into position most comfy for me and fageddabouddit. Do power seats break if not used? They aren't run off some sort of weird teutonic vacuum system, are they?

If I have to own a 4 door sedan, it should be a large, spacious, comfortable machine. I will park the 123 until spring. (see new thread: "What to do to store a diesel?") The cost of the storage will offset any fear that I have made the wrong decision, and the cost of storage will be "Bad Decision Insurance". I will restore the wood interior trim in the 126 over the winter and probably not lose a dime on it if I sell it next year (I hope).

Both the 123 & the 126 have heater/defroster/whatever malfunctions, so I would have had to make that repair anyways. I will resarch Monovalves in the archives.

The 126 drove beautifully, but seemed to wallow more than the 123. If I keep it a set of four Bilsteins is in the cards.

Now, for fun, when I sell whatever car turns out to be the "loser" I will replace it with a sporty 2 door (to replace the Alta 2000GTV that I recently had to sell to pay lawyers bills).
Hmmm...SL380 perhaps? Better than the SL450 I have heard.
