Trans X where is it available

Is this an item I can just pick up at any autoparts store in Georgia? Napa, Advance Autoparts, & Autozone are the major players in my area. I am going to give it a shot in my '82 300 D. Thanks in advance.

Do you have an O'Reilly's near ?
But anytime you have deals like this see if that company has a website...and see if they list ' closest retailer' to you... some even do you a map of how to get to them from your zip code....

OK,, edit....
I could not find it with search so I went out and looked on the side of the can...

Here are the people who make it...

Bought an 82 300DT about a month ago for $300, because the oil in the trans looked like crank case oil which is probably why the car wouldn't move in any gear. I threw a used trans in it that I had on my parts shelf. The trans worked great for a week then about 3 or 4 times a day it wouldn't shift out of first. I had to shift to neutral and back to drive to get it to shift until next time it acted up. I have another used trans, but I didn't want to spend several hours changing it even with a hoist and trans jack. I thought what the hey. I'll spend $6.00 on a bottle of Trans x first. That darn stuff worked. I haven't had the problem for a week of driving. I got the idea off another thread here.

Good luck,
Peter

Peter, on the Trans-x can it says if the fluid looks really bad use it at 1:10 ratio for 100 miles, drain fluid and change filter, then install new fluid with Trans-x at 1:20 ratio....
On my wagon it took two cans to get the first spec....
