240d-will All Engines Support Manual Trans
 
Will all the 240D engines support a manual transmission or are they different in any way? Can a manual transmission replace a automatic transmission? I think their are differences in the 300D but I cannot remember if their are in the 240D...Jim

I think so. The real issue is if the crank end is machined for a pilot bushing.

The 300's are supposed to have a beefed-up flywheel.
