production numbers needed
Does anyone on this forum have access to the number of 86SDLs and 87 SDLs produced and exported to the USA or can you direct me to a source?
Also were there any real differences in the 2 years other than trap oxidizer? thanks Joel |
The two years were the same, both years got the traps. I think 13,500 were made; thats why some SDL specific parts cost a lot more.

Only California models got the traps in '86. In '87. federal law required the six cylinder diesels to have traps across the board.
Mercedes made 13,830 SDL's. Since the SDL was US exclusive, this represents worldwide production. |
