Just drove a '74 240D 4-speed...
I am in love, again. Then again, I fall in love with just about every MB diesel that I drive including the not so nice ones.
This little 240D is for sale here locally. It has some minor, minor rust, easily repairable, the A/C just recently stopped working. It's paint is faded and weak on the corners and such but she purrs so beautifully. I wonder if $1500 is too much for this little jewel? She is as straight as an arrow and solid on the road. No rattles or squeaks. Handles somewhat flawlessly for a 30 year old car. If anyone is interested in the car then let me know. I am in the upstate of South Carolina. The car is not too far from Clemson University. Kevin |

What's the mileage on it? Any idea if it's the blower or the air that's not working?

IMHO, the 115 is a far more comfortable car than the 123. I love mine.
