Just saw an '85 300D, CA edition at the salvage yard....
 

Anybody need anything? Black/black. Odo does show 488,xxx miles. Should I snag the IP, injectors? What else? BTW- I have a CA edition, that's why I'm interested.

Is the air cleaner still there?

I want to ditch the Federal-style air cleaner setup (sick of broken brackets), and am wondering how restrictive the CA air cleaner setup is (the other alternative is the ricer-style cone filter). I'm assuming a CA air cleaner setup will fit on a Federal car...

I wish I could snag the whole interior...

Hey Warden-

I don't know how you'll adapt the CA version to a Federal car because my turbo is on top, but it's there if you want me to get it.

Someone got the front calipers, but the whole engine is intact. So are the axle shafts.

The interior is pretty clean, I wish more parts fit my CD. I did get the headrests (YEA!) been looking for those for 2 years. My PO had the early style on there.
