Pete,
I replace the fuse as you suggested - the wrong one! Anyway, I did manage to kill the glow plug light. Must have done something when I popped the instruments out. I've got voltage at the plugs but dash indicator stopped working. UGH. Another bone head move. I ordered a spare driver side window regulator from a junkyard a few months ago. I finally put it in today and was pleasantly suprised at how well it went. I finish up, put the tools away and look on the ground at the door bottom light. Wait it gets worse - I also forgot to thread the wires for the door light through the door panel. Take everything off and put it back on. I was tempted to shove the light in and forget about it but it's a mercedes! Anybody want to have a driver's door panel removal and replacement race? Dave |

You probably pulled the wire off the bulb, or it may be burned out.
Worst case you have a glow plug out, but then it will flash. Peter |
Those bulbs seem to be sensitive, esp when old...
