Those 4x4 posts are strong enough to hold up that truck, however they look a little weathered

He should have to have a safety guy to yell 'timber' when it falls. It should be a law, call your congressman.

It really shouldn't surprise me anymore by how stupid people can be, but every once in awhile you see something like this! Darwin's theory at work.

Talking Darwin Awards

The Darwin Awards commemorate the remains of individuals who contribute to the
improvement of our gene pool by removing themselves from it in really stupid ways ...

Believe it or not, the only problem that this fellow has is that the bottom of the wooden beam is not protected from kicking out.

As noted by Tirebiter, the same type of support is used to restrain large yachts in dry dock, however, the bottom of the support is usually a steel plate or a larger piece of wood to prevent a kick out. The top cannot budge due to the weight acting squarely on the face of the beam and the compression strength of the beam is more than sufficient to hold the weight of the vehicle (most of the weight is on the two remaining tires). If he used two of them, with proper feet for the bottoms, he would be fine.
