1982 240D for sale: $1700
 

Dear Diesel Demons:

My mechanic, Frank Hoffer, at J & S Gulf in Hoboken, NJ is selling a 1982 240D, automatic, 125K miles, dark gray with black leather interior. The car is in great running shape (Frank grew up in Vienna working on Mercedes cars) and would make a good daily driver. I've checked the car out a few times and it's fairly clean. I wish I could be more specific about it but I'm doing this as a favor and didn't have time to get into the details. Call Frank and he'll fill you in. He's got a bunch of MB cars to sell, actually - I'll post the list in a day or two. I thought I'd start out with the 240D because I actually took some pictures of it. Damnit, if I were only at a point and time where I could purchase my 240D, that would be perfect. There's a '77 on eBay I have been drooling over, but I want an '80s model...
