In Greece a 1976 240D has accomplished 4.6 MILLION!KM!

The C200 CDI that he got as a replacement ought to last a good 46,000 kilometers.

I wonder if M/B will take it back and give him a new one.

Was his car a 200D or 240D? I think the build sheet the show indicates it was a 200D.

Proves time and again that OM 616/617 engines, normally aspirated or turbo, were the best engines ever to be built by MB, sadly, no other MB engines come close to these engines in terms of reliability, ease of maintenance or good performance/economy ratio.
