Car stops suddenly?
I have a question concerning my 300SD. Durign the summer I would drive on the highway. When exiting off a Ramp you usually have to slow down quickly. Thing is when I let go of my gas pedal to fast, or slow down way to fast the engine would just turn off (or stop).
But If I slow down nicley and let go of the pedal steady, it will not shut off and be fine? Only during the summer! HElp me...Thanks Last edited by BenzBoy8; 10-07-2004 at 06:33 PM. Reason: edit |

Loose linkage?

Here is something I found here previously:
Check the linkage connected to the IP. It may be adjusted too short. When you pop loose the lingage just above the IP it should just meet its connection before you feel internal resistance of the IP. This cured an idling problem on mine.
